follow The 24-hour race in Dubai represents for the 14th time a rather challenging start of the motorsport season: With a track length of 5.39 kilometers, a strong presence of a total of 78 racing cars, an absolute competitive situation with 24 GT3 cars, a long night of more than 12 hours and a demanding track with 16 corners, the event serves as a turbulent desert marathon for amateur and professional racers.

http://johanstellerphotography.com The Team HTP Motorsport from Altendiez in Rhineland-Palatinate has optimal starting conditions for the race with a yellow-green Mercedes AMG GT3 and a strong team of drivers. The driver team around Alexander Hrachowina (40, Vienna), Martin Konrad (40, Vöcklabruck), Bernd Schneider (54, Bottighofen/CH), Brice Bosi (32, Luxembourg) and Indy Dontje (26, Alkmaar) will rotate and compete in the A6-Am classification, in which eleven vehicles start and professional as well as amateur racers share a cockpit.

http://johanstellerphotography.com HTP team boss Norbert Brückner is very positively looking forward to the upcoming race and expresses his expectation of a podium position: “We are aware of the outstanding long distance racing qualities of the Mercedes-AMG GT3 and we send a very experienced driver quintet into the race. This should enable us to have a place among the leaders in the A6-Am. But of course the laws of long-distance sports also apply to Dubai: Whoever wants to be in leading positions has to avoid mistakes for 24 hours and also needs that necessary little bit of luck, especially in yellow phases. But we’re happy that it’s starting again after the Christmas break, and we’re even more eager and keen to compete at the desert!”

http://johanstellerphotography.com Like every year, the long distance spectacle of the Persian Gulf takes place on the local weekend days (Friday/Saturday). The start takes place on Friday, 11 January, at 15 o’clock local time (CET plus three hours). Motorsport fans can follow the event in Dubai via Live Stream and Live Timing on www.24hseries.com. We keep our fingers crossed for our team!
